About the instructor

I’m Dr. Angie Eng, and I’ll be your instructor for Grant Writing for Artists and nonprofit organizations. I’m a professional artist, writer, and educator, and I’ve established 3 cultural nonprofits in Boulder, Colorado, France, and Ethiopia. I’ve been writing proposals and grants for 25 years for both individual artists and nonprofits. In my early career, I was trained by The Bronx Museum’s Artist in the Marketplace as well as Creative Capital’s professional Development 40-hour boot camp for artists. I’ve successfully won over 50 grants, residencies, and commissions. Learn the strategies to maximize your odds of getting your proposals funded. I also teach professional development for creatives at NYU and Introduction to AI at Santa Fe Community College.
