With a Boulder Arts Commission, I led a community-based project that promoted sustainability. This socially engaged project included remote workshops with people experiencing homelessness at Motherhouse shelter for pregnant women. They used reusable plastic tote bags to make these tree wraps as well as take out containers, CDs, and e-waste. 8 trees in Boulder Central Park were wrapped during a one-day event, Sustainable Summer DAZE.
