‘The Chinese Exclusion Case‘

In 1882 Congress passed the first of a series of Chinese Exclusion Acts prohibiting Chinese laborers and miners from entering the United States. This appeal was declined and Chinese laborers in American who had departed continued to be prohibited from re-entering the United States
