Euros per Minute
Photo Installation, 2007
Installed in the fashion of a real estate agency, photos of how we inhabit space: film, books, theatre, music, public transport, elevators, phone booths, parks are described and displayed as one would sell an apartment. In many real estate agencies in Paris superfluous photos of non-spaces offer little information accompanied by the amount of meters and price.
In ‘Euros per Minute’ one is reminded of our live space beyond private walls and how capitalism places a currency value on space, events, time, privacy and history.
